I think there is a really nice concept in there, the work is nice but it kind of lacks excitement. I would recomment changing the light to being centrally located (which is going to take some work to make the focal look right) then I would work on some blur on the outside ares while sharpening the focal... I think that would be a really great start to bringing out its strong points.
